Vincent F. Lackner, Jr., is the architect and principal developer of the 6-in-1 Estate Administration System. He is nationally known for his extensive experience with integrating estate tax, gift tax, fiduciary income tax, and fiduciary accounting. Also a licensed lawyer with wide experience in tax and probate law, Vince is a pioneer in the use of computers in law offices. Vince is an innovative pioneer, engaging the use of technology within law offices.

Vince received his Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Flanders, Belgium, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Harvard University.

Susan Mallah is the Vice President of The Lackner Group. Her specialized, combined background in accounting, taxation and computer science have made her a valuable member of our team for over twenty years. Prior to joining The Lackner Group’s team, Susan spent over 8 years as the Tax Manager for Ernst & Young’s Middle East and North African division.

Susan holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Robert Morris University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Seton Hill University.

The Lackner Group

The Lackner Group has been developing tools for estate administration since its incorporation in 1985. Its flagship product, the 6-in-1 Estate Administration System, has been on the market since early 1986. The product is used by law firms online like, accounting firms and banks throughout the United States.

Vince Lackner developed the 6-in-1 Estate Administration System in response to a wish list drawn up by the Computer Probate Systems Committee of the American Bar Association in 1983, which sought a software program that would prepare federal and state tax returns and court accountings after just one entry of each transaction.

The Lackner Group team has continued to build the 6-in-1 product beyond Vince’s initial vision. Today the company’s suite of products offers complete and robust solutions for estate and trust administration.

Dana has extensive experience in both customer service management, and software sales specific to both server-based and the cloud applications. She brings her many years of experience to The Lackner Group, traveling nationwide to interface and provide support to client-specific needs.

Her areas of expertise relate to: software support, database installation, data migration, mapping and cleansing management, establishing permission-based and customized systems. Dana is a business management graduate of Grove City College.


Jennifer Catherine
Estate Administration Specialist
Jen has been administering estates and trusts for 20 years in the Philadelphia area. She specializes in preparing death tax returns, income tax returns, accountings and all documents required in estate and trust administration. Jen has a B.A. from Temple University and an A.S. from Manor College in paralegal studies, with a paralegal certificate. Jen handles advanced trainings, technical support and assists with program development for The Lackner Group.

Betsy Crider
Estate Administration Specialist
Betsy has experience in the management of all aspects of estate administration, having worked at a regional law firm for over a decade. While there, she was actively involved with the 6-in-1 software. Working as a trainer and estate administration specialist has provided Betsy with the opportunity to work with many of The Lackner Group clients. She specializes in accounting and the REV-1500 software

Susan Loether
Susan is a highly experienced estate and trust paralegal, which is a great asset to her role as software trainer at The Lackner Group. She is uniquely qualified in estate work that has included a wide variety of assets, preparation of estate, and fiduciary income tax returns. Having worked as a pioneer user of The Lackner Group software, and having experience in working with law firms, banks, and corporations has given Susan diverse training experience.

Having started her career at a CPA office in the Pittsburgh area, Kim Joined The Lackner Group as an accounting clerk.  Kim has worked in many departments at The Lackner Group, and most recently supervises all accounting functions.

Laura has extensive national and international experience in corporate training & development, management & organization development, and human resources within the manufacturing, service, and financial industries. She has also worked within higher education as an adjunct professor of marketing. For the past five years, Laura has been a contracted administrative assistant at The Lackner Group.
